Allie’s maternity session was one for the books. She reached out to book her session a little later than I typically recommend, but it worked out perfectly. I was able to get her on my schedule ASAP and just 2 days after her session, she brought her sweet baby girl into the world. This is Allie and Tyler’s last baby (this is baby number 5 for these two!), and they have never had maternity portraits done before. So I was really happy to be able to squeeze them into my schedule and not miss documenting this pregnancy.
Since Allie was so close to her due date for the session, we decided on a location that was relatively local and close- Mann’s Creek. This location is one that I wasn’t extremely familiar with at the time, but it worked out perfectly with the gowns Allie decided to wear. I get total beach babe vibes from this session and I love it! Allie was brave enough to not only go knee deep into the water, but to also completely lay down in the sand, and the resulting photos are totally worth it!
When I asked Allie to get into the water at the end of the session, she leaned over to me and said “You know, if you ask Tyler to get in the water too and take his shirt off, he will totally do it. He LOVES to show off.” So we were able to get some amazing more couples boudoir type images in the water of the two of them together, and I LOVE it!
When I was heading home from this session, I literally called my boyfriend and was like “This couple I just photographed was so freaking gorgeous!” I was extremely excited about these photos and couldn’t wait to edit them. As a full time photographer, it is sessions like these that just make me so happy.
Allie, thank you so much for letting me document these special moments for you and your family. I am so in love with your session and I hope that you are loving the images in your home! You and Tyler were both such a joy to work with and I will forever love these photos!
