Fine Art Family Portraits
Fine art family portrait sessions are incredibly unique to each family. These sessions don’t involve a lot of “look at the camera and smile!” kind of images. These images are about documenting the true, deep connection your family has with one another. Breaking through and creating images that document that raw, real emotion is what I think sets my family portrait style apart from other photographers. Your family deserves to experience portraits like these at least once. The artwork we create together will last for generations- this is your legacy.
The Experience
Booking Information
Your $375 sitting fee reserves your session date in my books, and we will plan your dream session.
Prints & Products
1-2 weeks after your session date, you will get the opportunity to come back into the studio, view your images, and select the products you just can’t live without.
Payment Plans
I offer flexible payment plan options for up to 12 months after your session date.
Fine Art Family Portraits
Sitting Fee: $375
(non-refundable and must be paid in full to reserve your session date)
Includes:
An in person consultation prior to your session
Styling advice + access to the client wardrobe
Professional makeup application and complimentary hair styling for mom
2 hours of shooting time in studio
Custom charcuterie board for your session day
An ordering appointment to view images and order custom heirlooms for your home
Please note that no physical or digital images are included in the sitting fee. All images are purchased separately at your ordering appointment held 1-2 weeks after your session date. The amount spent can vary greatly depending on your family’s needs, but most clients invest between $1500 and $3000.

FAQs
Are any photos included in the sitting fee?
No physical or digital images are included in the sitting fee. All images are all purchased separately at your ordering appointment. Life is busy. Motherhood is busy. I know that the last thing on your mind is trying to figure out what size frame to put on your wall, what paper type to print images for grandma, or what size family album to order. That’s why I’m here to help you in every way- from designing your entire session to coordinate with your decor, to picking outfits that will look great for those wall portraits, to helping you pick the right print product to complement your images in the most beautiful way.
What is the “ordering appointment”?
The ordering appointment is the BEST part! This is your time to view all of your images for the first time and choose your favorites to order via the print collections and a la carte items I offer. I will be there to help you with the selection process, whether you want to purchase just a handful of images, or a large heirloom album.
Can I get digital images?
Yes! High resolution digital images are included in all of my “collections” which is the most popular route my clients take when they want both digital images and prints. You can buy high resolution digital images on their own on the “a la carte” pricing menu as well.
How much are the prints?
Every client invests differently at the ordering appointment, so this can vary greatly depending on budget and needs. The average client invests $2000-3000 in printed heirlooms. I would even be happy to schedule a phone call with you to discuss more specific print pricing too! Go ahead and contact me.
Do you offer payment plans?
Absolutely! Every print order over $1000 qualifies for a payment plan. You can even “pre-pay” on prints before your session even happens, which is very common. If you choose, we can set up a payment plan at your ordering appointment, and I just require a 20% down payment that day. Then we will agree upon a payment schedule for the balance, and typically payments are made monthly for 6-12 months. Please note that no physical or digital images are delivered until it is paid off in full. AFTERPAY is also available as a payment option.
